But they are also a source of information. On a professional level, it makes daily interaction possible with users and clients as another direct channel of communication. What’s more, it even positioned itself as a sales channel for many online businesses.

Banco Sabadell Social Media Engagement

WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and Twitter are the most used social networks in Spain. A digital environment in which the accounts we follow the most are those of our immediate environment, followed by influencers’ profiles follow, and, in third place, different brand profiles.

This shows that we listen to and trust people more than brands. This is how digital communities arise, such as #WeAreSabadell, a social media space in which, through a hashtag, we tune into the conversation of Banco Sabadell employees, a conversation that strengthens the bond between people, fostering the bank’s initiatives and values.

Being active on social media has many advantages:

  • It allows you to keep up to date with news and trends.
  • You can develop your own personal brand.
  • Increase and strengthen your professional relationships.
  • Improve your digital skills.
  • It makes it easier to ensure recognition, positioning and cohesion among users, clients and brands.

Banco Sabadell in the digital universe

Banco Sabadell’s social media journey began early, in 2007, and the community and the team that manages it have not stopped growing since then. Three years later, in 2010, the bank started to actively participate in different spaces for social dialogue and, just a year later, it decided to implement a 24/7 service through the Direct Branch, with the aim of being close to its customers and being able to attend to their queries at any time of the day. Today, Banco Sabadell has 34 profiles in Spain, across five channels: Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube and Instagram.

Thank you for letting us be by your side in your day-to-day life through social media and for being part of Banco Sabadell’s digital community.
