On 21 and 22 May, we had the chance to enjoy a new edition of the Trailwalker in Girona, the great solidarity challenge organised by Oxfam Intermón, with the collaboration of Banco Sabadell, to improve access to safe water and adequate hygiene conditions for the most vulnerable people.
Once again, Banco Sabadell has been recognised as the entity that contributed the most teams to the event. On this occasion, 22 teams took part in the 10, 55, and 100 km routes along the Via Verda de Girona, from Olot to Sant Feliu de Guíxols, and raised nearly €25,000 in aid of Oxfam Intermón.

More than 170 people from Banco Sabadell, in their role as participants, support teams, and volunteers, made the #Trailwalker2022 an exciting, challenging, and supportive experience.
In the 55km route through Girona’s Vía Verde, BS RUNNERS PER SEMPRE was the first #TrailwalkerSabadell team to cross the finish line.

On the 100km route, the fastest #TrailwalkerSabadell team was BS CEO EL MARGALLÓ, who came second overall and first as a mixed team.
The 10km teams, who took on the solidarity challenge on Sunday, were neck and neck at the finish line of Trailwalker 2022:
