The 2022 Trailwalker solidarity challenge is here, with 22 #TrailwalkerSabadell teams participating in it.
On 21 and 22 May, the 2022 Trailwalker takes place, a great solidarity sports event organised by Oxfam Intermón with the collaboration of Banco Sabadell.
This year, teams were able to choose between walking or running three different distances (10, 55 and 100 km) across Girona’s Via verda, from Olot to Sant Feliu de Guíxols. All the trails have different refreshment zones and rest areas.
Once again, the #WeAreSabadell spirit has done its bit in the fight against inequality brought on by the climate crisis. At the #Trailwalker2022, Banco Sabadell is, once again, the organisation with the most participating teams, contributing 22 #TrailwalkerSabadell teams. With their donations, these groups of employees in the organisation contribute towards improving safe water access and adequate hygiene conditions which will allow more vulnerable people to adapt to the effects of climate change.
Over 250 Banco Sabadell teams have participated in these eight editions, totalling 1,650 people, and our employees have raised over €425,000 for Oxfam Intermón solidarity projects.
