Sabadell Venture Capital has announced its participation in Cofers’ $1.5 million investment round. Cofers is a SaaS platform that is reshaping financial and treasury management in Mexico. The round, in which 4Founders Capital, Sabadell Venture Capital and JME Ventures participated, reinforces confidence in the company’s business model and in its ability to modernise financial processes in high-growth markets.

Founded in January 2024, Cofers enables companies to centralise, automate and optimise their treasury activities through advanced technology and artificial intelligence. Its platform integrates banking connectivity to provide a comprehensive view of cash flows, automated reconciliation with the tax administration service (SAT), intelligent categorisation of bank transactions and smart financial analysis. These capabilities are particularly relevant in environments with limited banking connectivity as they provide an operating layer that integrates data from multiple banks, entities and systems.

Raúl Rodríguez, Assistant General Manager of Banco Sabadell and Director of BSCapital, highlights that this investment reflects our commitment to financial innovation as it “supports technologies that add real value to the market and projects with the potential to scale and transform key industries internationally”.

With this second round, Cofers seeks to consolidate its position as the leading solution in Mexico, while accelerating the development of new AI-powered functionalities geared towards improving the efficiency of financial teams, including payment automation and financial forecasting.

The company was recently included in the ranking of “Mexico’s 100 early-stage startups”, which recognises those tech companies with greater capacity to drive innovation in the country.
