This year, the exhibition celebrates its 27th edition, positioning itself as the leading event in our country and one of the major international benchmarks in the franchising sector.

According to the Annual Franchise Report recently presented by the AEF, comparing 2022 with 2019, revenue has grown by 2.9%, employment by 3.18%, and the number of brands has remained at 1,375. These figures show that recovery has consolidated, the franchise system has emerged stronger, and it is here to stay. It is also evident that more and more cities have businesses under the franchise umbrella, with over 70% of establishments in shopping centres and over 50% in shopping streets being franchises in major cities.
We can look at 2023 with all the optimism provided by the demonstrated professionalism and strength. We hope this edition will feature a significant number of brands, which we will accompany, and that the fair will close with a large influx of visitors eager to embark on new ventures, resulting in new franchisees willing to invest and businesses expanding through franchising.
