On 24, 25 and 26 October, the Valencia Digital Summit 2022 will be held, an annual meeting point for entrepreneurs, innovators, startups, corporations, investors and legislators, that strives to position the city of Valencia as the capital of technological innovation, bringing together more than 10,000 professionals from the entrepreneurial ecosystem.
The meeting, fostered by Startup Valencia, will be delving into innovation, growth, transformation and sustainability, showcasing disruptive solutions offered by the best minds and seeking to incentivise interesting business opportunities.
Once again this year, BStartup of Banco Sabadell, Global Partner of Startup Valencia, will actively participate in the content agenda and will be present with a stand offering financial advice from the specialised branch teams, as well as on the new special products designed for scaleups and startups.

Tuesday, 25 October at Summit Stage
- 11:00 to 11:25 a.m. at Summit Stage. ‘Is it (still) Worth Investing in Tech?’ with Raph Crouan, Managing Director Tech Clients Europe Orrick, Marta Campillo, Investment Manager BStartup de Banco Sabadell, Mercè Tell, Managing Partner at Encomenda Capital Partners and chaired by Jill Petzinger, Tech.eu. It is a panel that will bring together investors with different profiles, including CVCs and LPs, national and international, to make a point on the state of investment in the sector and the impact of the ongoing crisis.
- 1:05 to 1:30 p.m. at Ecosystem Stage. ‘Best tips after years investing.’ Panel in Spanish, with Eli Martinez, Nuclio, Rubén Colomer, Go Hub Ventures, Ángel Buigues, BStartup advisor of Banco Sabadell, Andrés Echecopar, AEA Capital and chaired by Estefanía Pastor, Valencia Plaza.
- 4:00 to 4:30 p.m. at Innovation Stage. ‘How to Introduce Innovation Seamlessly in the Core Business’ with Yolanda Pérez, BStartup Director of Banco Sabadell, Marta Antúnez Ruiz, Director of Wayra Barcelona, Elena De Benavides Jimenez and Head of Corporate Venturing and Innovation Ecosystem at Elewit.
Wednesday, 26 October at Summit Stage
- 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. at Ecosystem Stage. ‘The Challenge Pitches’. In collaboration with the Universitat Politècnica de València, the finalist projects of the Valencia Digital Summit Hackathon will be presented. Ángel Buigues, BStartup advisor, is joining the professional jury board together with Roberto Sarasa, LFP R&D Barcelona and SW HUB Valencia Site Manager at HP, José Ignacio Ruiz Open Innovation & GoHub Solutions Manager at GoHub, Fernando Blaya, Portfolio Manager at Elewit, Daniel Martínez, Senior Technician of the Entrepreneurship Area at IDEAS UPV and Karina Virrueta, Head of Ecosystem Development at Startup Valencia.
Investment experts will share their best tips and knowledge on the sector with the emerging companies present at the event.
At Banco Sabadell’s BStartup stand, located in the Market Place, they will showcase portfolio companies with disruptive solutions:
- On Tuesday, 25th: Dcycle, a startup whose environmental intelligence tool is able to measure and reduce companies’ carbon footprints.
- On Wednesday, 26th: OffUgo, a car rental company in tourist locations that offers a 100% digital solution with the aim of guaranteeing an optimal experience at a competitive price.
