The Barcelona Open Banco Sabadell – 69th Conde de Godó Trophy is kicking off and will be a special edition in which we, once again, get to enjoy the best clay court tennis just like we used to before the pandemic.
The #BCNOpenBS is coming back with full capacity and the facilities of the Reial Club de Tenis de Barcelona – 1899 are already ready to welcome the many tennis fans who will attend the tournament to enjoy this new edition that will feature the best players on the ATP circuit.
This year, the tournament has prepared the most digital edition yet, including numerous interactive proposals which will bring this sport closer to the audience. At Banco Sabadell, we have been part of this milestone by organising several ground-breaking initiatives that will take place in the new Fan Boulevard of the Reial Club de Tenis Barcelona.
Test your talent in our phygital experience
Tennis lovers will have fun using our interactive screen and live a unique physical and digital, or phygital, experience. This is our gamification proposal in which children and adults alike will be able to show off their reflexes and racket skills using an interactive screen. What’s more, everyone who shares a photo or video on social media playing with the screen will also be eligible for tickets to the semi-final.
To participate:
- From 16 April at 9 a.m. to 21 April at 6 p.m., we are launching a giveaway whereby tournament attendees who participate in the Banco Sabadell phygital experience will be in with a chance of winning two tickets to the singles semi-final of the tournament that will take place on 23 April.
- To participate, all you have to do is upload a photo or video to Twitter and/or Instagram playing one of the challenges we will throw at you on the interactive screen.
- You have to use the #BCNOpenBSLover hashtag and mention @BancoSabadell (remember that for us to see the content your profile must be public and, in the case of Instagram, only videos uploaded to the feed will be considered, so stories do not count)

Find out about the #SabadellTennisMetaverse experience
The most state-of-the-art technologies are making an appearance at the tournament thanks to Banco Sabadell and our #SabadellTenisMetaverso. In this case, attendees will have an innovative space at their disposal, which we have developed together with Accenture.
At #SabadellTenisMetaverso you can come into contact with the tennis metaverse through a fully immersive virtual reality experience.
With the Oculus glasses and the controllers, essential tools for interacting in this metaverse, you will be transported into the virtual locker rooms of the Reial Club de Tenis de Barcelona – 1899, where we will provide you with instructions and from where you can access the tennis court, either alone or accompanied. Once there, pick up the balls from the court and place them in the baskets so that you can then hold the coveted tournament trophy. If you share this experience through social media, you will also be participating in a giveaway where you can win tickets to the final.
In this case, the dynamics of the giveaway are as follows:
