A hackathon consists of a technological competition that, for a short period of time (usually two days) brings together teams of people passionate about the world of technology who are asked to solve a certain challenge or find new ideas that can contribute to improving a specific topic. The Innovation Banking Hack Fest #Hackathon, which will take place in #Alicante from 27 to 29 October, is organised by Sabadell Digital jointly with Accenture, NTT DATA Europe & Latam and DXC Technology, in collaboration with #BStartup, CENID, Telefónica, Microsoft, Samsung Electronics, UA – University of Alicante / Universitat d’Alacant, Miguel Hernández University, Elche, ELLIS Alicante Foundation and the Student Council of the University of AlicanteMultitecUA.
#University –#students and VE students will participate in it, as well as recent graduates (maximum 2 years) with innovative ideas that help to improve any kind of operation that involves a monetary transaction in any environment (payments, purchases, information on accounts., improvements to payment platforms such as #bizum, usability of vending machines… the possibilities are endless). Prizes will be awarded for the best ideas, as we mentioned earlier: university master’s degrees, internships, #smartphones or #wearables, among others, such as visits to the Accenture Dock Innovation Hub in #Dublín, the NTT DATA Europe & Latam Data in #London or tickets to sports events or to the #MobileWorldCongress?
