Banco Sabadell has activated a plan with measures to support families and companies affected by the aftermath of storm DANA in the Community of Valencia, with the aim of offering effective and quick aid measures to deal with the devastating consequences of the storm.

More specifically, the Bank has approved a 100 million euro extension of the credit line at the disposal of Generalitat Valenciana, while also green lighting an extension of another 15 million euros, up to 75 million euros, of the Mutual Guarantee Society (MGS) official lines of financing and guarantees for this institution to help those affected with whatever they need.

In addition, Banco Sabadell has launched the extraordinary emergency protocol to serve through its helplines those customers who have been affected. It has set up a direct service channel for insurance claims and a telephone line to serve individuals and companies, so as to analyse any issues in connection with their loans. The Bank’s professionals will analyse each specific case to offer the best solution. The telephone number for Banco Sabadell customers affected by DANA is (+34) 963 68 98 72.

Furthermore, the Bank has opened an account to help those affected by the storm where contributions can be sent by all those people who wish to contribute. The Institution will donate one euro for each euro donated by citizens, contributing at least 500,000 euros. The current account number to send contributions is ES94-0081-0693-61-0002423445.

“Banco Sabadell’s Board of Directors and its entire team wish to convey their deepest and most heartfelt condolences to the families and relatives of those who passed away”, the Chairman of the Institution, Josep Oliu, stated in a letter sent to Generalitat Valenciana. Similarly, Oliu acknowledged and thanked the authorities and all the emergency services for the work they are doing to rescue the victims and to repair the damage as quickly as possible.
