Today, 8 March, International Women’s Day, we are sharing one of the initiatives we actively take part in as an entity. Banco Sabadell is starting the sixth edition of its collaboration with the Quiero Trabajo Foundation. This is an assistance programme that strives to foster the social reintegration of women at risk of social exclusion, preparing them for their job interview and helping them regain their self-confidence.
In this way, the aim is to enable these groups of women, in particular the most vulnerable, to achieve higher incomes, better access to and control over resources, and greater security. It also strives to empower women so that they can become emotionally and financially independent, boosting their self-esteem and ensuring they can strengthen their own skills in the workplace.
The initiative will be carried out online during the month of May, and Banco Sabadell volunteers will be able to act as trainers in goal-setting, job search 2.0 and job interview workshops. They will also be able to mentor participants in speed dating sessions and individual meetings.

The Quiero Trabajo Foundation strives to empower people, mainly women, by providing them with support, personalised training, image consultancy, clothing and appropriate accessories to help them get a job that makes them feel dignified, useful and financially independent.
Thanks to the work of this foundation, 8 out of 10 women get a job within 2 months, and increase their chances of getting a job by more than 28%.
We would like to once again thank the great work carried out by the volunteers of the different programmes in which we as an entity participate.
