Banco Sabadell is launching a line of financing of 45 million euros with preferential conditions and zero fees, as part of a range of measures to support households, firms and self-employed persons affected by the wildfires that continue to burn at several locations across the country, especially in Galicia, Asturias, the Community of Madrid, Castilla y Leon, and Extremadura.

This initiative, which also includes advances of insurance and reinsurance compensation at 0% interest, up to 12 months, and with zero fees, aims to offer effective and swift support for families and productive sectors affected by the fires so that they can access finance as soon as possible.

The aid package is aimed at all those affected, focusing especially on the primary sector, as a lot of land used for arable and livestock farming has been severely affected by the fires, causing the loss of facilities, fields, machinery, animals and pastures.

Banco Sabadell’s agro-industrial service has a team of directors and staff specialising in solutions designed specifically for the agricultural, livestock, fishing and wine sectors, who have first-hand knowledge of the needs of each business.

This service was created in 2014 and has since served customers through its 300 agro-industrial branches. It also has a specific unit within Central Services, tasked with finding the best way to meet the needs of this group of customers.
