Barcelona once again welcomes a great festival of sport this summer. From 13-21 April, tennis fans have an unmissable appointment at the Barcelona Open Banc Sabadell – 71º Trofeo Conde de Godó. The courts of the Barcelona Royal Tennis Club once again becomes a unique theatre where fans can enjoy the best clay tennis.

The Barcelona Open Banc Sabadell – Trofeo Conde de Godó is not just a tennis tournament, it is a sporting and cultural event of great importance in Barcelona and the whole of Spain. The tournament attracts thousands of fans from round the world who enjoy a high-quality spectacle and the great atmosphere around the courts of the Barcelona Royal Tennis Club. The tournament also promotes the city of Barcelona and Catalonia to the rest of the world.

The Barcelona Open Banc Sabadell is one of the oldest and most prestigious tennis tournaments on the ATP circuit, and the 71st tournament will be very special because this year’s is the 125th anniversary of the Barcelona Royal Tennis Club.

2024’s Barcelona Open Banco Sabadell will bring together some of the best tennis players, such as reigning champion Carlos Alcaraz and Rafael Nadal, the king of the tournament with twenty trophies in his trophy cabinet. Stefanos Tsitsipás will return again this year to one of his favourite tournaments, and Kei Nishikori has been given one of the tournament’s four wild cards. The mouth-watering roster is headed by three Top 10 players Andrey Rublev, Casper Ruud and Alex de Miñaur. That means that the tournament will be contested by eight of the top twenty players on the ATP rankings.

The Barcelona Open Banc Sabadell is a sporting event of great importance which helps to promote tennis in Spain and the rest of the world. The tournament is also an important economic driver of the economy of the city of Barcelona and Catalonia.
