The Reial Club de Tenis Barcelona hosts, from Saturday 15 April to Sunday 23 April, the Barcelona Open Banc Sabadell – 70th Conde de Godó Trophy. A tournament that this year is celebrating its 70th anniversary with a very special edition.
This week Barcelona becomes the epicentre of the best clay court and thousands of fans will make their way to the Catalan capital to enjoy this great sporting event which will bring together the most outstanding players on the ATP circuit and a wide range of charismatic players who are already part of the history of the tournament.
Banco Sabadell is supporting, yet another year, the great festival of sport which will be our 16th year supporting the #BCNOpenBS. This year the tournament is celebrating its 70th anniversary and we wanted to get involved in the celebration by organising a number of different activities that you can experience throughout the event.
Participate in the Banco Sabadell cyclone
One of the initiatives we have lined up consists of a game for adults and children to test their dexterity and agility by ‘hunting’ balls inside our cyclone. For 10 seconds, participants must catch as many balls as possible.
What’s more, anyone who shares photos or videos of their experience of the cyclone by tagging Banco Sabadell’s profile on Twitter and Instagram with the hashtag #BCNOpenBSLover will be entered into a draw to win tickets to the final. The period to participate in the draw will be from 15 to 20 April until 6pm and on 21 April we will announce the lucky winner. We remind you that only posts made on public profiles will be counted, and in the case of Instagram, only posts made in the feed will be counted, not in stories. Capture your #BCNOpenBSLover moment on centre court and share it with us
This year you can take a unique tournament souvenir home with you. On Thursday 20 April and Sunday 23 April, attendees on the centre court of the Real Club de Tenis Barcelona will be able to take original photos in the stands and save them, send them by email and even share them on social networks. All thanks to the tournament’s Fan Cam and Banco Sabadell.
During the round of 18 and on the day of the grand final, you can show your passion for tennis, capture your #BCNOpenBSLover moment and upload it to social media. You will find a QR code to scan on your seat. Once you have accessed the application, you will need to indicate your position on the court (section, row and seat) so that the Fan Cam can scan the stands and find you using geolocation. Then it’s time to get ready for the photo. Get creative, put on your best smile and click. The system will give you three different snapshots and you have to choose the one you want to keep for your memories. Don’t forget to share it on social networks. Remember to tag @BancoSabadell with the hashtag #BCNOpenBSLover. The best photos will be projected on the centre court screen during the breaks.
